Tatt's ink-redibly unfunny

The Sun recently printed an article about a man named Vince Mattingley and his tattoo. Since The Sun is a tabloid newspaper, I don't really believe the story. Then again, look at all the people I have documented here in my own site.

According to the article, means "Coca-Cola".

That is absolutely nonsense.

The two-character phrase actually mean "crooked official".

Plus, Coca-Cola is 可口可樂 in Chinese & コカ・コーラ in Japanese.

Back In Business

I hadn't tattooed in 4 months. Would I suck? Did I unlearn everything? Or would it be like riding a bike?

My hands took over, my brain didn't stop them. Yes, it's a simple, cliche tattoo, but I gave not one fuck. I felt good, better than good. Tattooing is like crack to me, even the tiniest bit makes me feel so much better. It's the worst addiction I have, and the only one I have absolutely no intention of ever breaking. I love this addiction, and look foreward to it every day.

The Time Is almost Here...

After a 4 month hiatus, and after losing all machines, equipment and supplies, all I need is for my inks to get here. That's tomorrow. The shop is almost open (FreakShow Tattoos, San Antonio TX), my card design is almost finished, just need to color the thing, and I'm starting my new flash set. Maybe I'll put out a sketchbook soon as well. Four months of no tattooing....in a way I think it was good for me. It gave me time to play with my kids, sit down and draw, focus on some things that needed attention. Now my brain is working again, and the drawings are flowing out easier.

Coolest Schoolbus Ever.

Police Brutality? No.

"Another shocking example of police brutality has been caught on camera showing a cop nearly breaking a girl's arm, punching her and then pepper spraying her in the face as she cries after being arrested for violating a city curfew."

Source

Man, my dad's a cop. I hear all about it from both points of view. I swing one way or the other depending on facts. He did not almost break her arm. He didn't even come close. She's just a crybaby 15 year old punk ass kid that figures she's always rght, and when she's not, it's not her fault. If that was my kid, I would have picked her up, taken her home, and beat her ass myself. If I was him, and some punk kid that I was exceedingly patient with bit ME, I would have fucking hurt her. She's fucking lucky, that bite (assault) could have made him jerk back in a way that he snapped her wrist on accident with the cuffs.

She's Alive!

So. Here we are again eh? Been awhile, hasn't it? Over a year. Wow. The things that have changed. I moved again, back to ol' San Antonio, TX. I'm getting married, to an awesome, intelligent, and completely, utterly handsome man, I've learned to tattoo, and I actually have some people noticing me.

I am no longer faceless. I exist, for more people than I thought I could a year ago, and I feel good. I have improved; as a person, in my art, all around. I'll tell you more about it, but not right now. Right now, I'm going to draw. Here, have a pretty picture.
